Why did we decide to start this site?

We were frustrated with the limitations of the classic countdown timers currently freely available on the web. We found that we couldn't customise these timers in the way we wanted any further than manually updating data or making do with a classic countdown.

What's different about picformation?

We generate dynamic images using scripts that can include live data. Without any programming knowledge, you can include count-down timers and in the future 'word of the day' or 'quote of the day'. With a little bit of extra knowledge and your own website you can include something a bit more special - bespoke content, all in an image which can be used anywhere an image normally would be! We allow you to set-up links to websites that you host or run and extract data from that site to use in your pictures.

So - what can I make?

Any data that is on your site can be quickly imported and linked into our site. We will give you example scripts and tutorials on how to make this happen. It's very easy and completely FREE to set up.

Use picformation images in your email

Send emails to your contacts showing your latest offers (linked dynamically to data live from your site!

If you're holding an event and want people to know how far away it is, your image will ALWAYS show the right information!

A build email wizard is being prepared and when it's ready you will be able to compose your email within Picformation and then send the email to your own email account in order to forward onto your contacts.

MySpace

You can add them to your MySpace profile.

We will give you the HTML code you need to insert your image into your myspace profile. You can also track how many people view your image.

You don't need to know anything about HTML or complicated coding.

We do all the work for you! Just copy and paste the code from our site into your profile.

The hosting of your image on picformation is FREE. The dynamic content you get from picformation is also FREE. Why not give it a try?

We provide you with the HTML and BB Code (?) for you to insert into your forum signature or use your dynamic image as your Avatar!

Save the best (and probably most obvious) 'til last. You can of course use your picformation image on your own website.
